The Giles County Sheriff's Department and the Giles County Administration have implemented an emergency notification system. The system will notify citizens of any emergency situations affecting Giles County of any potential flooding, power outages, unsafe emergency situations and any emergency situations at the schools.

Oct 04 2023 | NEW RICH CREEK VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT BUILDING
The Rich Creek Volunteer Fire Department and the Rich Creek Town Council have recently moved forward towards the construction of a new 3-bay fire station.
The Rich Creek Town Council recently approved the designation of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds awarded the Town, towards this project ($681,000) and the Rich Creek Lion's Club has pledged additional funds, in support of the project.
The fire department is currently working towards raising additional funds and accepting monetary donations, to assist with meeting the goal of $1,250,000.00, to fully fund & equip the new building.
Thank you for your support of these men and women, who volunteer their time to protect & serve the residents of the Town of Rich Creek and the surrounding communities!
