Oct 04 2023 | NEW RICH CREEK VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT BUILDING

The Rich Creek Volunteer Fire Department and the Rich Creek Town Council have recently moved forward towards the construction of a new 3-bay fire station. 

The Rich Creek Town Council recently approved the designation of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds awarded the Town, towards this project ($681,000) and the Rich Creek Lion's Club has pledged additional funds, in support of the project.

The fire department is currently working towards raising additional funds and accepting monetary donations, to assist with meeting the goal of $1,250,000.00, to fully fund & equip the new building.

Thank you for your support of these men and women, who volunteer their time to protect & serve the residents of the Town of Rich Creek and the surrounding communities!

The next meeting of the Rich Creek Town Council will be held on MONDAY, MAY 13th at 6:00 PM, at the Rich Creek Municipal Building in Council’s Chambers, located at 250 Old Virginia Avenue, Rich Creek.

The new Water/Sewer rates, adopted by Town Council June 12, 2023, are effective as of July 1, 2023.

New Rates

In-Town Customers  Water $20.75  Sewer $26.88=$47.63*

Outside Corporate Limits Water $36.32 Sewer $53.76=$90.08*

*Based on min. of 2,000 gallons water
