The Virginia Department of Forestry has announced the spring fire season Burning Law.

The law prohibits outdoor burning between midnight and 4:00 PM from February 15th through April 30, 2025 in the State of Virginia.

Please be advised, per the Town of Rich Creek Code §94.01 OPEN FIRE AND OPEN BURNING:  It shall be unlawful for any person to set an open fire, within the corporate limits of the Town, between the hours of 12:00 AM and 4:00 PM Sunday through Friday.
