UPDATE: The Rich Creek Town Council will meet on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 6:00 PM for consideration and the appointment of an interim Mayor and a Town Council Member. The term of office will expire with the November 4, 2025 election. The following candidates will be considered:
Mayor:
Mrs. Anne C. Chambers
Town Council:
Mr. Dorsey E. Bradley
Mr. Christopher B. Wickline
NOTICE:
Purpose: This notice is provided to inform the public of the change in leadership and to ensure transparency in the appointment process.
There will be a public hearing at 6:30 pm on May 12th, 2025 at the Municipal Building in Rich Creek Virginia, at 250 Old Virginia Avenue. The purpose of this meeting is to solicit interest in filling the vacancies of Mayor and Town Council Member as interim appointments. Interested parties must contact the Town office by May 11th at noon to be considered. You must be present at the Public Hearing and prepared for an interview process to include a review of your resident status and qualifications.
