Water/Sewer Service
Water and sewer services may be applied for by visiting the Rich Creek Town Office. A list of rates and connection fees is available at the Town Office. Business License
Any person or persons operating a business from within the Town are required to have a business license.

Town Licenses
Residents of Rich Creek will be billed annually a license fee for all automobiles and/or motorcycles. The renewal fee will be added to the personal property tax ticket once the initial fee has been paid. Refer to the Schedule of Fees for the fee amount. Building & Zoning Permits
Most types of construction, whether it is interior or exterior, requires a building permit. The Town of Rich Creek handles inspections for those jobs involving exterior sewer and/or water lines. Building permits related to other types of construction must be obtained through Giles County. A Zoning Permit is required when there is a new structure built, there is an addition at an existing structure, there is a change of use of a property, or there is a storage building, fence, or sign placed on an individual's property. Refer to the Schedule of Fees for fee. The Permit Application is available online or at the Town Office. Non-Household Trash Pickup
The Town offers a Spring Clean-Up Day one time per year for non-household trash pickup service. Dates for pick-up will be posted online and on the bulletin board at the Town Office. Non-household trash includes items such as furniture, appliances, lawn mowers and the like. No hazardous materials (such as paint cans) will be accepted. A fee may be charged for some items. Brush & Leaf Disposal
The Town provides a site for brush and leaf disposal. No construction debris and trash is permitted. Materials being deposed of must be brought by the Town office during normal business hours at 250 Old Virginia Avenue for inspection. Public Library
The Rich Creek Public Library is located in the Rich Creek Community Center. The library features an array of material for your enjoyment. Wireless internet is available via three terminals or through your personal laptop. For more information you may contact Debbie Morris at deputyclerk@richcreek.org.

Sunrise Memorial Gardens
Sunrise Memorial Gardens is owned and maintained by the Town of Rich Creek. The cemetery is governed by a five member Board of Trustees that are appointed by the Town Council. Gravesites are available for purchase by contacting the Town Office at (540) 726-3260 or email townofrichcreek@richcreek.org.

Woodland Park
Woodland Park is owned and operated by the Town of Rich Creek. The park has been a valuable part of the community infrastructure for more than forty years. The park provides a place for recreation and community gatherings. The park has a pavilion complete with a kitchen and handicap accessible restrooms are available. The park features a playground. Tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts are used frequently by the citizens of Rich Creek and the surrounding community. A paved trail around the park provides a place for those that wish to walk and jog. Community Center
The Rich Creek Community Center is a multipurpose facility. The Town Office, Police Department, Public Library and the Rich Creek Lions Club Den are located at the center. The facility features a gymnasium that doubles as a dinner and meeting hall. A kitchen is also available.
The Rich Creek Activity Field is adjacent to the center. This is the site of various activities such as softball games, soccer games, tractor pulls, and a firemen’s rodeo.

Fire Department
The Rich Creek Volunteer Fire Department is a fire system with 22 members. You may click here for a membership list. Each member is sworn to uphold the provisions of the Town of Rich Creek and Giles County in order to protect the lives and property of all residents.
